Today was very special because my casino host comped our meal. They were fresh out of the tank. Would definitely recommend the meal to others. Ask for him on your next vist to Park steak house. The lobster chowder was excellent! Overall was very nice.
Waitress took our creme brule order. It turns out you were all out though. So we didn't have any dessert that night. We loved our steaks, but for the price, we expected at least 1 side to be included, e. Everything but the steak was a la carte. Our steaks looked very lonely on our plates! Always a great steak. Staff was friendly and service was spot on. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to eat. The food was good, but for the price, the sides and meat were not phenomenal. Service was wonderful, beautiful restaurant.
We had reservations and we were sat right away. Lovely table with a nice view of the fire place. Great food, I had the steak my friend had the grilled salmon with a side of veggies. My steak was cooked exactly as I ordered. Try the meal for two, especially if you have a half off coupon. Enough food for a family of four and delicious meal. We went on a quiet night and enjoyed listening to the piano player.
Good service, very attentive. Excellent 5-star in every way! I love the buttermilk fried chicken and baked yams. My favorite salad is the wedge salad, and I always have one of their scrumptious desserts! Thank you for the great experience and we are looking forward to the next visit soon. I hate it when you go to a nice restaurant and the server gives you an attitude that they are better then you. The tables are to close to each other to enjoy conversation.
Very juicy and tasty steaks excellent I love it all. My review grades were at very good. Food excellent, service could have been more attentive, like water refills and the prices are a bit high for the portion sizes. Ordered the prime rim it was very chewy and lots of fat might have gotten an end part. All was well except for our main entree our waiter brought us 2 Prime Ribs, when in fact we ordered 2 Ribeye steaks. My wife then choked on the Prime Rib no joke.
I proceeded to give her the Heinrich maneuver two times. She rushed to the ladies room, visibly shaken, where two more staff members checked on her and one then gave her the Heinrich maneuver a third time. An EMT shows up and wanted to check my wife out. By this time the piece of meat had been already dislodged and my wife refused the EMT services.
At this point my wife was frightened to eat the Prime Rib or very little else of her dinner. The party had dessert and we left. We were planning to have after dinner cocktails in the piano bar but my wife was not feeling well. The out of town guests we hosted we shocked that such a high end steakhouse did not redo the entree order, regardless of who was fault knowing we always have Ribeye steak and never Prime Ribwhen we go out to steakhouses. That and the fact that my wife chocked on the meat was a very unfortunate way to celebrate what was to have been a special dinner.
The steaks were cooked perfect and the Au gratin Potatoes were delicious. The Blue Cheese Wedge Salad was excellent and dressing divine with chunks of blue cheese and bacon. The desserts could have been better. The carrot and chocolate cake were dry but the lemon tart was very good. Other than that knocked it out ofthe Park no pun intended lol. The food tasted like below average mass produced banquet food.
The service was wonderful, but overall this would not be a place we would recommend with so many other wonderful Sonoma County options. The manager, Sergio, always has this place running smoothly, and his warm mannerism helps guests feel right at home!
The choice of food was good but with a hefty price tag. They had a special for Alaskan crab legs which were very good; however, the waiter was asked specifically if they cut the crab in half so no crab hands were possible. He insisted that they were, when the crab arrived it was cut but not in half requiring you to use your hands I tried knife and fork first.
I dug into the crab placing the meat in the clarified butter to warm it up, went to the restroom to clean my hands which is almost impossible to get the smell out, then returned to the table to finish my meal.
I would think that at this level of price and higher end restaurant they would not want their customers to have to use their hands for eating. Please cut the crab all the way through to make two halves that then only require a small fork to remove the meat. On another note, we were served the salad we decided to share but the bread did not arrive until long after finishing it, but it gave me the opportunity to not have bread at all.
We just told him no thank you! We ordered half bottles of wine that were very good yet very expensive as you would expect in a restaurant of this caliber.
Recap - steak was ordered medium rare and came rare, Crab had to be eaten with hands, bread did not arrive until first course complete, wine was good but overpriced, and waiter was not around enough. We are moving away from the area but I would have given them a second chance and not ordered crab.
Three stars because I expected much more from this restaurant. How many lobsters excellent, The tempura prawns for an appetizer. The restaurant has improved a lot with their service and also the foods are a lot better now. I didn't use to think they have a real chef in the kitchen but the last 3 times I dined there, the meats temperature were cooked correctly and pretty tasty. It is open 24 hours per day, every day of the year.
